Not sure what type of care your loved one needs? The FACTS Program developed a guide that describes the levels of care in behavioral health, including those available at UW Medicine. We hope it helps you understand which might be right for your loved one and their care needs.
Crisis Services
If you or an adult loved one are experiencing a mental health crisis and wants help, Connections Kirkland is a new crisis response center that is open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The center offers a range of services for adults in crisis, including walk-in mental health urgent care, stabilization units, extended stabilization units, and outpatient recovery services.
If your loved one is unwilling or unable to go to a crisis center, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available 24 hours per day by calling 988, texting 988 or you can chat online for assistance from a trained counselor.
If you or a loved one are in imminent danger or if there is a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department for assistance.
